Who's the first famous entrepreneur that pops into your head? I couldn't remember his name, but I remembered wanting a Pet Rock as a kid, and I remember my parents being amazed at how such a simple idea could take the world by storm.

Think about this one - the inventor of the Pet Rock, a collectible toy made in 1975 by advertising executive Gary Dahl.
Pet Rocks are smooth stones from Mexico's Rosarito Beach. They were marketed like

live pets, in custom cardboard boxes, complete with straw and breathing holes.
The fad lasted about six months, ending after a short increase in sales during the Christmas season of December 1975. Although by February 1976 they were discounted due to lower sales, Dahl sold over 1 million Pet Rocks for $4 each and became a millionaire. Can you imagine what might have happened with today's social media reach? It only takes an idea...and a good marketing team. With today's social media reach, any idea has the ability to reach the right market with proper targeting.
There are no bad ideas
At some point, every experienced brainstormer has heard the expression, “There's no such thing as a bad idea!” In fact, it just might be the #1 “rule” of brainstorming. ... There is always one participant, and often many more, who challenge the notion that bad ideas don't exist. “Of course there are bad ideas. You just have to be open to exploring all options to the fullest...what starts out sounding like a stupid idea, can be the next Pet Rock or Cabbage Patch Kid. Being an entrepreneur is all about belief and determination...you believe you will come up with the idea and you have the determination to keep trying. But also, don't keep chasing a dream no one else wants to buy. You have to be prepared to hear "Your baby is ugly," and not take it personally. It's not meant that way, you pay a marketing expert for their opinion and reasons behind it. They are not here to hurt you. If you don't make money, we don't make money.
