Weather you work alone from home, in a small office or in a larger setting, the things around you have a direct effect on your creativity.
In The Spring and Summer good wi-fi and an extension cord is all i need. I move the office out into the garden. Complete with a waterfall and pond, it provides creativity, relaxation and stimulation.

While I can't spend every day working outdoors, on the days when I can it has a very positive effect on the work flow. some of the other benefits are spontaneous content. The wildlife the pond draws has made for great video.
Did I mention the other view? I look a little to the left of the pond and up.

In the colder months I surround myself with things that catch my eye when I look up. If I look to the left I have a gardenia plant, to the right is a Mrs. Beasley Doll. If color stimulates you, make your space pop with it. If you find minimal makes your creative engine flow, then do it.
No matter what space you have, it's important to make it your own. Family photos, your pets, a favorite figurine...it doesn't matter. We all need a little happy place in our work space.
